A Day in the Life of…. are pocket sized collages/paintings/prints and drawings, one
made every day either when I wake up in the morning, or before going to sleep. I
began making them while being ‘stuck’ in my first year at the RCA.
Six years later, “A Day in the Life of….” has developed into a collection of small,
stream of consciousness artworks, which document what is going on around me, and
in the wider world, on a specific day. Recent subjects have been my Phd studies into
visual parallax and the London Olympics.
The collection currently consists of around 2,500 works, which is usually either
displayed in grids, within cabinets, or in the palm of someone’s hand, depending
on the situation.
